enotar.io received seed funding from the Programa de Innovación Tecnológica (PITs) of Auge-UCR, supported by Banca para el Desarrollo, which enabled the creation of its Minimum Viable Product (MVP) and strengthened its position within Costa Rica’s technology and startup ecosystem.
From its launch to 2025, enotar.io has evolved into a growing and successful startup, expanding year over year and establishing itself as a trusted solution for creators, artists, researchers, and developers around the world.

In 2025, we introduced Charm Bar, a Shopify theme app extension that lets merchants offer interactive jewelry customization directly on their storefront.
Charm Bar is a Shopify app that lets stores offer an interactive jewelry-building experience. Customers can combine chains, charms, earrings, or anklets and preview their piece in real time before adding it to the cart. Merchants can organize charms into categories, customize the look and text of the component, and seamlessly integrate the builder into their product pages.
The name Blackberry comes directly from the family surnames behind the company: Espinoza and Mora.
Espinoza is a Spanish surname associated with “espinoso,” meaning thorny, like the bramble or bush of a blackberry plant.
Mora is another Spanish surname that literally means blackberry (the fruit).
Together, these two family names —Espinoza Mora— translate symbolically and etymologically to Blackberry.
The name honors our lineage and reflects the identity of a Costa Rican family building technology for the world.
